Rates sent on a message
Prices typed into a chat get lost, misread or argued about later.
Typed again when they order
The customer says yes and someone retypes every item and rate into an order.
Old prices come back
A quotation from two months ago turns up when rates have changed, and nobody knows how long it was meant to last.
What quotations do
What works today, what is coming soon, and the plans that include each.
Numbered quotations
QT/26-27/0001, 0002… for each financial year, so every quotation can be found and quoted back.
All plans
Priced like an order
The customer’s agreed rate, else their price list, else the item’s own price. The owner or a manager can set a different rate on any line.
All plans
GST worked out
CGST and SGST or IGST from the customer’s state, so the quoted total is what they will pay.
All plans
Valid until a date
Prices hold for seven days unless you choose another date. An expired quotation says so and can be given a new date.

Change it while it is open
Add or remove items, change quantities or the date until the customer decides.
All plans
Yes becomes an order
One tap makes the order at the quoted prices, with a delivery day. It happens once, even if the button is pressed twice.
All plans
No is kept with a reason
Mark a quotation declined, with why — “found it cheaper” tells you something about your prices.

Salesmen see their own
A salesman makes quotations for his customers and sees only those; the office sees all of them.

Coming soon: being built now. Planned: after the pilot. Everything without a label works today.
Quotations, step by step
- 1
Pick the customer
Their prices fill in by themselves.
- 2
Add the items
Quantities, and a different rate on any line if you agreed one.
- 3
Send it
As a PDF, by email, or from your own WhatsApp.
- 4
They say yes
Make the order in one tap, at the quoted prices.
A quotation is not a bill
A quotation never touches the customer’s khata or your GST figures. Only the order it becomes, and the invoice after it, do — so a quotation that goes nowhere leaves nothing to clean up.
- No khata entry until the invoice
- Declined quotations keep their reason
- One order per quotation

Questions about quotations
What is the difference between a quotation and an estimate?
In day-to-day trade they mean the same thing: the prices you offer before the customer orders. Billzova Trade calls it a quotation and numbers it QT/26-27/0001.
Can a quotation become an invoice?
It becomes an order first, at the quoted prices. When the goods go out, the order becomes a GST invoice in one tap, like any other order.
How long is a quotation valid?
Seven days unless you choose another date. After that it shows as expired; change the date to offer the prices again.
Does a quotation count in the customer’s dues?
No. Nothing is owed until an invoice is made.
Can I send it on WhatsApp?
Yes, from your own WhatsApp: a ready message with the number, the total and the date the prices hold until. You can also email the PDF.
Which plan has quotations?
Every plan, including Starter.
