Catalogue and price lists

Your items, your packs, each customer’s price

Set up what you sell once: units, pack sizes like 1 crate = 24 bottles, MRP, HSN and GST rate. Put customers on price lists — hotels at one price, shops at another — and each one sees their own price on their ordering link.

Sound familiar?

  • Prices in someone’s head

Different customers pay different rates, and only one person remembers which.

  • Packs and pieces

Some customers buy by the crate, others by the piece, and the bill has to match.

  • Rate changes

When a price changes, every list, message and salesman has to hear about it.

How it works

Catalogue and price lists, step by step

One by one, or all at once from Excel.

  2. 2

    Make price lists

Hotels, retail, wholesale — whatever groups you use.

  3. 3

    Agree each customer’s rates

Each customer buys at their agreed rate, else their list’s price, else your default price.

  4. 4

    Prices flow everywhere

Orders, invoices and the ordering link all use the same prices.

Questions about catalogue and price lists

Can one customer pay a different price from their group?

Yes, on every plan. Set the rates you agreed with that customer on their Rates page; they come before their group’s price list, and every other item sells at the list or usual price.

Can I give a better rate on one order only?

Yes. The owner or a manager can change a line’s rate on one order; it is recorded with who did it. While taking the order you also see what the customer last paid for each item.

Can I sell the same item by the piece and by the crate?

Set the unit and the pack size (for example, 1 crate = 24 bottles) on the item, and orders and invoices show both.

What happens to items not on a price list?

They sell at the item’s own default price.

Does it track stock?

Yes, on Growth and Pro. Choose which items to count and say what is there now. Invoices take stock out by themselves and goods returned on a credit note come back; you enter stock bought in, damage and counts. Home warns you when an item falls below the level you set. Batches and expiry dates are planned for Pro.
